Manchester City Women have made their first signing ahead of the 2016 campaign with Scottish International Jane Ross joining the club:
mcfc.co.uk reports:
The 26-year-old forward joins the club from Vittsjo GIK, and has previously featured for Glasgow City and Paisley Saints.
After helping the Scottish outfit to six league titles, three Scottish Cups, three League Cups and a place in the last 16 of the Champions League – as well as scooping the Player of the Season Award in her debut campaign – she made the decision to turn professional in 2013 and made the move to Sweden, where she netted 51 goals in 82 games.
Having tasted success before, Ross is hoping to add to her collection of medals with Nick Cushing‘s side.
