GMWFL 2019/20 Constitution Confirmed

The GMWFL have confirmed their constitution ahead of the 2019/20 season with 21 teams amongst its two adults divisions and 15 teams across two Under-18s divisions.

There are 11 teams in Division One with seven new teams entering the division.  Brand new teams Ashton United, Mossley, Didsbury Reserves and Bolton Wanderers Reserves have been selected by the GMWFL committee to begin lift in Division One and will be hopeful in following in Champions Salford City’s footsteps who’ve been promoted to the NWWRFL Division One South.

Division Two Champions West Didsbury & Chorlton Development have been promoted alongside runners-up Tameside United and Heyside Angels.  Urmston Meadowside, Langho, Rochdale and Urmston Meadowside complete the round up with Barr Hill having folded at the end of last season.

Mancunian Unity, Walshaw Sports, AFC Lionesses, Stockport Lionesses and Crompton are new additions to Division Two whilst Bolton Lads & Girls have been relegated from Division One.  Making up the 10 division are AFC Oldham, Boltonians, Flixton and Swinton.
