The Lancashire & Manchester FA have both confirmed the draws for their opening rounds of the 2019/20 County Cups.

The Manchester FA Women’s Challenge Cup First Round kicks off on Sunday 15th September and see’s holders FC United open their defence with a home tie against GMWFL side AFC Urmston Meadowside. Last year’s finalists and GMWFL Division One Champions Salford City will look to go one better this season and make the short trip to Flixton at the Armitage Centre.
Semi-Finalists Manchester Stingers host Quarter Finalists Sale United, there’s an all GMWFL tie between Crompton and AFC Oldham whilst GMWFL Division Two Champions West Didsbury & Chorlton Development have a walkover against Chadderton Park Lionesses who’ve already folded.

Holders Blackburn Rovers are one of three teams who’ve received byes to the second round with Fleetwood Town Wrens and Morecambe Reserves.
The pick of the ties see’s recently relegated-from-the-WNL Morecambe host Chorley whilst GMWFL Division One surprise package Langho will be hoping for a cup upset at home to Wigan Athletic.
Sir Tom Finney Development and Hindley both face mammoth tasks to progress to the next round as they face WNL opponents Bolton Wanderers and Burnley respectively.
